A continuación se ofrece una relación de materiales didácticos relacionados con las asignaturas que se imparten en el currículum integrado del Programa de Enseñanza Bilingüe (PEB).

Currículo integrado hispano-británico para educación infantil y orientaciones para su desarrollo

El programa bilingüe del Convenio MEC/British Council, nació en 1996 como una experiencia única dentro del sistema educativo estatal español. Los primeros grupos de niños finalizaron la etapa de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria en 2008. El acuerdo formal entre el Ministerio de Educación y el British Council plantea como objetivo del programa proporcionar a niños desde los 3 hasta los 16 años una educación bilingüe y bi-cultural a través de un currículo integrado español/inglés, basado en el currículo español y en el “national curriculum” para Inglaterra y Gales.

Spanish/English primary integrated curriculum. Language and literacy

This integrated curriculum has official recognition (BOE May 2000). The implementation of such a curriculum requires a very different classroom approach from the traditional EFL classroom where the focus is on learning English as a foreign language as opposed to studying areas of the primary curriculum through English. The specific objectives of the programme are:To promote the acquisition and learning of both languages through an integrated content-based curriculum; To encourage awareness of the diversity of both cultures; To facilitate the exchange of teachers and children; To encourage the use of modern technologies in learning other languages; here appropriate, to promote the certification of studies under both educational systems.

Currículo Integrado de Ciencia 1º y 2º ESO

The current document has been written by a working party consisting of Spanish and British teachers who have worked on the Project and it has been designed as the logical continuation of the Integrated Curriculum for Primary Stage. It includes: a clear delineation of the contents to be taught in Natural Science for the level of 1st and 2nd year of Secondary Education; a definition of the linguistic and scientific skills and of the attainment targets students are expected to reach; and a choice of resources to be used by teacher.
