The Los Angeles Spanish Resource Center had the pleasure of sharing a conversation with Gemma Celestino about her book "Y tú, ¿eres feminista?" After her presentation, everybody was able to give Gemma questions about this interesting topic. It was so good that we wish we had had more time to speak with her!!!

The Los Angeles Spanish Resource Center had the pleasure of sharing the reading of different poems in the languages of Spain: Catalan, Basque, Galician and Spanish, and their translation into English. We enjoyed the reading and brought to Los Angeles a piece of our country.

The Los Angeles Spanish Resource Center had the pleasure of sharing a talk with the artist and teacher, Meli León. Meli talked about her career as a teacher and as an artist and we could give her questions about the works of art that she showed us.

The Los Angeles Spanish Resource Center showed the documentary "La Queenciañera" directed by Pedro Peira. This activity marked the return to in-person activities in our Resource Center. Our Education Counselor and the Secretary General attended this activity together with the protagonist, Bamby Salcedo, students from Hollywood High School and USC. Afterwards, we were able to give questions to Pedro and Bamby. It was very emotional!
