Would you like to spend a year in Spain getting to know its people, culture and language?

The North American Language and Culture Assistants program is an educational outreach Program sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Spain in conjunction with the 17 regional governments of Spain, through the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States.

It offers American college students and/or graduates, who are native speakers of English, the opportunity to become teacher assistants to teachers of English in schools in Spain. While in Spain, language assistants will also have the opportunity to learn about the Spanish language and culture and use this experience upon their return to the United States, whether it be in the field of education, business or any other. This will contribute to the development of a cultural understanding and cooperation between the citizens of Spain and the United States that will last a lifetime.
